ENSCHEDE – A group of Brinkers Food employees took part in the Runway Run Twente at Twente Airport, joining runners from across the region to raise money for KiKa, the Dutch foundation dedicated to childhood cancer research.
For the Brinkers team, the event was a great opportunity to get active together, support an important cause and enjoy a special day with colleagues. The Runway Run offers participants the unique opportunity to run on the runway of Twente Airport, bringing together sport, fundraising and the local community.
Brinkers was also present with a stand, where croissants topped with the company’s chocolate spreads were handed out to runners and spectators. The treats gave participants and supporters a chance to refuel and, of course, try some of Brinkers’ chocolate spreads.
The event was about more than the run itself. Colleagues from different parts of the company joined the initiative, while others helped out at the stand throughout the day. Together, they helped create a welcoming atmosphere and support the fundraising efforts for KiKa.
As a family-owned company based in Enschede, Brinkers has been part of the local community for more than 135 years. Supporting local initiatives and bringing colleagues together for a good cause is something the company is happy to be part of.
The Runway Run combined sport, community spirit and fundraising, with participants and supporters coming together for children with cancer. For Brinkers, it was a memorable day filled with teamwork, good energy and, naturally, plenty of chocolate spread.
